Lady Gaga, awarded by American fashion designers with Fashion Icon Award

Singer Lady Gaga has been awarded the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Fashion Icon Award in 2011, during a gala held on Monday at Lincoln Center in New York.

Singer 25-year-old, who wore a blue wig and a dress created by Thierry Mugler house, said he was extremely excited to receive this award, inform contactmusic.com.

"I can not believe I was allowed to go there. My sister came with me this evening. I've already said that I am very excited. I used to make savings to buy the old house Mugler dresses.
