Microsoft officially launched Windows Phone Mango, or Windows Phone 7.1, the latest version of the operating system for mobile phones that comes with a lot of improvements and new applications.
If you expect an official announcement from Microsoft headquarters, here's the surprise comes directly from Romania, the local subsidiary of Microsoft was first to announce the official debut of Windows Phone Mango. The company boasts that the new update will include 500 features, some of which are really important, namely, support for multitasking, Internet Explorer 9, text-to-speech, support for improved access to social networks, supporting an inbox management of multiple e-mail accounts, App Connect, Live Tiles or Visual Voice Mail.
Microsoft announced today a new Windows version called Mango Phone, which will bring over 500 new features that surpass the limits of the user experience of smartphones, communication, and Internet applications. The new version will be available free for all terminals with Windows Phone and can be downloaded early this summer. More details about scheduling updates for the terminal will be announced closer to launch. Also, Windows Phone will be available for new terminals, new partners from the manufacturers. UPDATE: Microsoft also announced that support and applications for Windows Mobile 6.5. will be available until July 15.
