Choose the best audio connection

Choose the best audio connection

Question !

     Welcome you!

I want to get the best audio quality with what I have, therefore, the components are:

     - Technics SU-V60 Amplifier

     - Onkyo TX-SV9041 Amplituner

     - Laptop with external audio card - Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround Pro 5.1.

I do not intend to connect two amplifiers simultaneously.

     Exit / entry available are:

     - Only RCA

     - Only RCA

     - RCA jack, optical out.

Normally the best possible signal would be optically variable. But considering that it has no amplifier output, the best left RCA - RCA?

Or is there any optical cable at one end and RCA at the other (unlikely)?

Answers

I do not know your amplifier to receive only analog signal, the optical signal of the digital cable wonder then that should contain a DAC and be powered separately.

From what I see in the pictures provided by Google best solution is to connect the amplifier to the RCA output. Then you have to do some tests and determine which one sounds better system and give your taste ... and ready the system.

Self Answer

As expected and not worth buying a DAC ...

Currently amplifier is connected through RCA (when I got like this was one of the pluses, the possibility of direct connection RCA). The sound quality is much improved from the integrated card, but I thought, if the RCA is so, the optical would be better.

Therefore remain the RCA version.

Feel Free to give the right answer (if these are not enough or bad)
