A response to a request on the official blog of the Nokia Ovi service, reveals that the suite of Nokia Maps can be used on phones with Android or iPhone.

The answer comes from an official of the company and specify that Nokia Maps (which is in beta) will be used on any smartphone that supports HTML 5, so either version of iPhone, iPod touch and iPhone with IOS 4, either phones running Android 2.2 or 2.3 Froyo Gingerbread.
