Imerj 2-in-1 SmartPad Android Phone with double screen

After Kyocera and Sony, the horizon is a new name that suggests a solution based on Android smartphone or separate simultaneous use of two screens. The prototype in collaboration with Frog Design Imerj will be called 2-in-1 SmartPad, precisely because it attempts to combine the convenience of smartphone functionality of a tablet.

2-in-1 Imerj SmartPad has all the right books to be considered a high-tech terminal type. It is equipped with a TI OMAP processor running at 1GHz Dual Core, 1GB of RAM, 32 GB internal memory, a front camera for video calls and a rear of 5mpx able to record HD video at 720p.

The terminal is equipped with two Super AMOLED touchscreen with WVGA resolution 4 inch Gorilla Glass based technology, which confer resistance to scratches. Imerj the custom interface Gingerbread Android 2.3 operating system, to make the most of the functionality of the 2 screens. In the open position, the phone has a thickness of 7 mm, screens are backed by a system of magnets.

Engadget editors had the opportunity to test this terminal and the views seem to be quite positive. It noted that the tested model is still in infancy, so here and there interface is not very reactive.
