An unmanned aircraft made an emergency landing on a reactor in Fukushima
An unmanned aircraft measure radioactivity over nuclear plant accident in Fukushima (northeastern Japan) had to make Friday an emergency landing on the roof of a reactor plant operator said.
Tokyo Electric Power (Tepco) said the plane, a T-Hawk's American company Honeywell, weighing 7.7 kg, caused no damage.
"It became uncontrollable and made an emergency landing on the roof of the reactor 2," said a spokesman Tepco, adding that there is "no visible fire or smoke."
On 11 March, a giant tsunami caused by an earthquake measuring 9 Fukushima Daiichi plant installations covered, causing the worst crisis of the Chernobyl nuclear accident in Ukraine in 1986.
