1.6 TB SSD from TMS

SMART Modular Techologies yesterday launched a series of SSDs Smart Optimus. They are intended, in particular companies and have up to 1.6 TB of storage and read speeds of up to 1 GB per second. For now are the biggest SSD in the world.

Smart interface Optimus is SAS (Serial Attached SCSI) 6 Gb / s read speeds and promises up to 1000 MB / s and write up to 500 MB / s. All in 2.5 inch format.

Will come in storage capacities of 200 GB, 400 GB, 800 GB and 1.6 TB and will be equipped with all kinds of technologies that ensure data security. These include FlashGuard, DriveGuard and EverGuard.
